Nearly four and a half months after Russell Martin's initial media briefing as the club's manager, successor the German coach faced reporters at Rangers' stadium for the first time.
The scale of the challenge ahead of him is well known, given his predecessor's chaotic and disappointing 123-day spell.
The ex- Wednesday manager was accompanied by club chairman the chairman, along with the frequently questioned duo of sporting director Thelwell and chief executive Stewart.
However, what exactly was revealed from the 36-year-old German's first public appearance as Rangers boss?
Rohl's Primary Focus - Victory is Everything
A single message came through loud and clear from Rohl's initial presentation before the Scottish media - he understands the necessity to win matches, and do so rapidly.
The previous manager Russell Martin lasted only 17 matches and four months as manager, so the inquiry emerged about how long the new man believes is realistic to turn around the underperforming team.
Although deftly avoiding a specific response that might create later expectations, the coach's communication was very evident.
"Hopefully as soon as possible," he said. "This is crucial.
"In this business you have not much opportunity. One can talk about future plans but it's understood it concerns immediate results and that period is about securing victories. That is what I demand.
"One thing remains clear - I need all players to comprehend how we want to perform. I return to my primary theme: victory comes first, it's attractive and unity. By following this sequence, I'm convinced that I will remain very long here."
Pressure is Normal
Martin required a police escort to exit the stadium after his final match as manager.
We've witnessed how toxic situations can turn at sports teams when performances are poor. Demonstrations have nearly become a regular aspect of game day atmosphere on both sides of Glasgow these days.
As the club's most youthful ever head coach, the question was posed about what qualities the coach thinks he possesses that would enable him to cope, never mind thrive, in among the most pressurized positions in British football?
"I think pressure in this business are standard," he stated. "You must learn that very quickly.
"I believe some people could reference my age but I'm a decade and a half in this career. I had a great opportunity to work with Bayern Munich and serve as just the assistant coach, but I felt what it means to manage a team and the pressure you face.
"You begin getting results and then certain people will say you must produce entertaining soccer. That becomes the phase but that's exactly my intention. I enjoy those expectations and I'm excited for what's ahead."
Thelwell Defends Striker Acquisition & Hiring His Son
The media pack had numerous inquiries from journalists directed at Thelwell.
Much discussion has focused on the appointment of his son as head of recruitment, with supporters skeptical about his credentials for the role.
Nevertheless, he justified and explained the decision to recruit Thelwell Jnr to the club.
"It remains uncomfortable to hear and in appearance I believe everyone understood when we took this decision to hire Robbie that he would be seen negatively," Thelwell stated.
"The truth of circumstances is that we aim to bring the top talent here.
"My view on his professional path and situation is he required no family help in soccer.
"He served at Aston Villa as head scout, he then joined Norwich as head of scouting and then was elevated to development role.
"Before we hiring him, two Premier League teams wanted to sign him. Our approach from the start of the process was discuss with Patrick, Andrew and vice-chairman Marathe about this situation.
"I remained extremely open and I believe Robbie probably experienced a more rigorous process than any other employee by this football club.
"I'm certain is that he will work 25/8 to be successful for this football club and I'm looking forward to him proving that he's going to be a valuable employee for Rangers."
Thelwell also defended the signing of striker Chermiti, who arrived at Rangers for a reported first payment of £8m, having failed to score in 24 appearances for Everton.
It was Thelwell who brought the Portugal youth international to Liverpool from Sporting Lisbon - again for large funds in a £15m transfer.
The question came if he stands by his multi-million pound signing, who hasn't yet register in seven matches for Rangers.
"Absolutely, completely," Thelwell answered. "I think Youssef Chermiti represents who's got great ability.
"I haven't questioned him in any way. Again, I believe Danny will assist in get the best out of Youssef.
"It's very early days for him, he remains young talent and naturally with young talents they occasionally take time.
"But I'm certain over the course of his time here he'll demonstrate that he is highly capable player."
The CEO Acknowledges Fan Frustration and Anger
Stewart was also facing scrutiny, given the criticism that has been aimed his way by certain of the club's fans.
Additionally, there was a sign in the Sandy Jardine stand during the recent draw with Dundee United inviting Stewart - and Thelwell - to pack his bags before they were packed for them.
Like his football director, Stewart didn't avoid the issue.
"I completely understand the disappointment and hurt that the supporters are feeling because results recently haven't been good enough and no one is satisfied with them," he stated.
"The hurt and disappointment they feel is mirrored inside the boardroom.
"Recognize that there has to be a channel for that dissatisfaction and as chief executive, that's me.
"I'm a focal point for such issues and my responsibility as a
